While the caffeine hit provides that pick-me-up that we all love, the real hero here is cordyceps - a medicinal mushroom long utilised in Traditional Chinese Medicine to support stamina, endurance & performance (among many other benefits).
Here we’ve used the dried cordyceps, which can be easily blitzed into a powder to add to your coffee, tea or smoothies!
It’s a great option for travelling, or for those who prefer an alcohol-free option from the tinctures.
Ingredients:
1⁄2 tsp of dried cordyceps fruit body
Your choice of coffee - iced, latte, long black, the options are endless!
Method:
To make, simply blitz the cordyceps in a spice grinder or blender.
Then, stir into your coffee of choice. Easy as that!
While you can enjoy this anytime, we recommend either first thing in the morning or as a pre-workout!
